Completing many Rites of Passage and participating in her own Vision Quest revealed her desire to help others Quest. Holding this ancient transformative knowledge, she continues the timeless ceremony keeping the tradition alive.
Spending +$50,000$ over a decade in wilderness education, Dariya has dedicated half a decade to teaching and bringing people back to nature and has guided vision quests for over 4 years, with Finding Polaris.
She has 7 years of intense wilderness survival training, educated in some of the best wilderness schools in North America.
Dariya's immersion into Primitive Living and almost a decade of teaching Yoga has given her the skills to hold the sacred space in remote wilderness locations.
As Guides, Schools and Elders are in steep decline, Finding Polaris proudly holds this deeply connecting Ritual sacred. Guiding you in this Rite of Passage serves to connect us to the gifts of our ancestors in order to be of greater service for the future generations.
In a world drowning in screens and stress, find inner peace in the heart of nature, where the endless digital chatter fades away. Leave behind the daily grind and immerse yourself in a life changing experience designed to alleviate the burdens of a fast-paced, modern existence.
Rites of passage weren't just about survival; they were about purpose.
Through these transformative experiences, individuals discovered their unique roles within the tribe, unlocking a sense of purpose that extended beyond personal desires. The journey from adolescence to adulthood was a sacred pact with the community, reinforcing the interconnectedness of every member.
Picture ancient tribes, their nomadic existence directed by the rhythm of nature. As young members reached the cusp of adulthood, they were required to embark on a rite of passage. This wasn't just a ritual; it was an evolutionary need, a ceremony designed to prepare individuals for the challenges of life, forging resilience and adaptability.
Tribe members who could not complete their rites of passage were left behind, so they could not be a burden to the tribe. Tribes could not afford to feed and support members who continued in an adolescent state. The Rite of passage served as a portal into adulthood, proving the members strength, independence and ability to provide for the tribe
We find ourselves in the dull hum of modernity, often detached from the ancient wisdom that sustained our forebears. The digital age, while providing unprecedented conveniences, has severed the vital link to nature and the profound self-discovery embedded in rites of passage.
But the echoes of tradition still resonate. The call to rediscover the ancient path of rites of passage isn't a mere nostalgia; it's a necessity. In a world where stress, disconnection, and purposelessness prevail, the ancient wisdom beckons us to return to the crucible of transformation, to reclaim our health, purpose, and evolution.
The journey to a more balanced, fulfilling life begins with a single step. Don't let the demands of your profession dictate your entire existence.
